"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." (Ephesians 3:20) God wants to manifest Himself beyond what we can ask or think.
We shouldn't wait until we can comprehend something before we release our faith for it. You might say, "Well if I release my faith for something I can't comprehend, then I don't know what I am releasing my faith for." Yes, you do! You released your faith for God's answer. You may not know what the answer is, but you know when a man speaks in tongues, he speaks the answer. When he speaks the mystery, he speaks hidden wisdom and gives thanks in advance for the answer. When you do this, you've released your faith for the answer.
Praying in the spirit for the answer requires a commitment. We must put action with our faith. The commitment is this. Receiving the answer requires that we do what God speaks for us to do. Simple acts of obedience will lead you to the manifestation of what you have been praying in the Spirit.
God expects us to follow through with our part. When He supplies the answer, He expects us to implement them in this realm.
I remember several years ago, I spent a great amount of time assembling a computer for a friend. It had taken me weeks to get all of the necessary parts and I had gone to great lengths to make it state of the art. I put a little money, a lot of time, and a lot of love into the project and then the day came when I surprised this young couple with their free computer. I was excited. I gave them something I knew would enhance their life.
Sadly, six months later when I went back to their house, they had never even hooked it up. I had gone to a lot of trouble to supply a solution to their checkbook balancing problem. Even though they had the solution in their house, it didn't profit them because they didn't act on it. When God gives us the solution, when He reveals the hidden wisdom, we must act on it or it is of no use. Praying in tongues is a wonderful thing, but we must receive and act on what He gives us.
